Brentwood District Council consultation on draft local plan is in progress

Brentwood District Council is currently consulting on a stage of Local Plan preparation. The Brentwood Draft Local Plan sets out the proposed vision, objectives, strategy, planning policies and sites to meet development needs over the next 15 years.  The plan includes proposals for nearly 4,000 new homes in the green belt, a series of greenfield urban extensions and a garden village suburb called Duntan Hills which is planned jointly with neighbouring Basildon Council.

The local plan is available for public comment between Wednesday 10 February and Wednesday 23 March 2016.
