Draft New Wycombe District Local Plan consultation in progress

A consultation on  the draft new Local Plan for Wycome District is now in progress and all comments are to be received by midnight on Monday 8 August 2016.

The draft plan sets out the long term future for the district identifying where new homes, jobs and infrastructure will be created and how we will protect our countryside.

The draft sets out:

  • core policies
  • where we propose to provide for new homes and jobs - covering our towns and rural areas
  • policies for housing and economic growth
  • policies to protect our countryside - specifically the green belt and Areas of Outstanding Natural Beauty (AONB)

The draft Plan is not the final version but is part of the ongoing preparation of the Plan.  Wycombe District Council welcomes ongoing input into the content of the Plan and they aim to publish the final version of the Plan in January 2017.
